The Forte offers 1 inch more front-seat headroom, 0.4 inches more rear-seat headroom, and 2.1 cubic feet more trunk space than the Corolla.

Performance

When it comes to power and performance, both the 2019 Forte and 2019 Corolla have plenty to offer. Though both vehicles deliver smooth cornering and rapid acceleration, the Kia begins to outshine the Toyota when you take a look at their engines. While the Corolla's 1.8L 4-cylinder engine can provide a respectable 132 horsepower, it pales in comparison to the Forte's 2.0L MPI 4-cylinder engine which delivers a stronger 147 horsepower.
