Performance
The 2019 Kia Forte can perform at an exceptional level, one that suits the type of vehicle that it is. As a sedan, the Forte has an engine that can put out a rather modest 147 horsepower rating while riding up to 6,200 wheel rotations per minute and being able to generate 132 feet per pounds of torque. It runs on regular unleaded fuel and has a fuel economy that combines for 31 total miles per gallon, getting 27 MPGs when on any main road and 37 MPGs when riding on the highway. The engine drivetrain contains a front wheel drive that is complemented by a 6-speed manual transmission.
Interior and Features
The Kia Forte has a wide array of different interior features and special tech settings that make it comfortable and up to date for drivers. As with most other sedan models, the Kia Forte can seat a total of five people on the inside, and providing them the comfort of bucket front seats that are decorated in cloth, though other trim levels can have a leatherette decoration. Some interior options include a special interior lighting kit, carpeted floor mats and an auto-dimming mirror with a compass on it. Cruise control is a feature that is included on all the more advanced trim levels, though all of them do have climate control, with access to normal radio and the audio and cruise control systems mounted onto the steering wheel. There are also up to three months of satellite radio included with the car's purchase.

As with all other newly released vehicles, safety and security is always taken care of and the Kia Forte is no exception to car safety. Child protection is a major factor when it comes to new cars, and the Forte has features like child seating anchors and rear door safety locks to keep them safe. The car comes with a pre and post-collision safety system to help drivers be aware of potential accidents as well as keep track of the car status in the event that an accident does occur. Along with this there is also a lane departure warning system to alert drivers of any close vehicles to help avoid accidents.
