Duration: For 6 months from the effective date or when the odometer has registered 6,000 miles from that shown on the effective date, whichever comes first.
Deductible: The warranty holder pays the first $100 of each covered repair.
Systems Covered:
GASOLINE/DIESEL ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts, including: pistons, piston rings and pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, oil pump, timing chains, gears and/or belt, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, seats and guides, valve push rods and lifters. Engine block (covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part), turbocharger. Seals and gaskets, within this component group, in conjunction with a covered repair.
TRANSMISSION: Transmission case and transfer case (covered by a failure of an internally lubricated part). All internal lubricated parts including: bands, clutch pack, gears, pumps, shafts, shift forks, shift rails, synchronizer, solenoids. Torque converter, bell housing vacuum modulator, transmission mounts and transmission pan. Seals and gaskets, within this component group, in conjunction with a covered repair.
DRIVE AXLE: Axle/final drive housing (covered by the failure of an internally lubricated part), all internal lubricated parts, axle shafts, differential cover, universal joints and yokes, constant velocity and double offset joints, drive shaft center bearings, supports, propeller shafts. Seals and gaskets, within this component group, in conjunction with a covered repair.
The 6 month/6,000 mile limited warranty is not available on As-Is vehicles, wholesale vehicles, lease buyback / pass-thru vehicles or uninspected vehicles. Vehicles that are 10 years of age or newer with less than 100,000 miles are eligible for the program, provided that they pass the comprehensive multi-point inspection and reconditioning process and are not on the CostGuard exclusion list. Note that this program can also apply to vehicles where the remaining factory coverage is less than 6 months or 6,000 miles. Please check the FTC Buyers guide on the vehicle for full details. Three day/250 mile exchange policy: the vehicle must be exchanged for a vehicle of equal or greater sales price (difference in price is responsibility of customer) and must be in the same physical and mechanical condition as when delivered, and if financed, any additional finance conditions including but not limited to additional down-payments, shorter or longer repayment terms or additional finance conditions such as a change in payment amounts, due dates or APR's may be required.
