Differences Between 2019 Kia Stinger & 2019 Ford Mustang
Serving Cincinnati, OH, Fairfield, OH, and Springfield, OH
Available in four editions, the 2019 Kia Stinger is a four-door car with a sportback-type body. Up to five individuals can hop inside this elegant sedan that packs luxury and efficiency into an exclusive package. As a true muscle car that emphasizes unrelenting performance, the 2019 Ford Mustang has only four seats. The Drive Wise technology also gives the Stinger an undisputed advantage in safety.
Handling
The 2019 Stinger carries the Centrifugal Pendulum Absorber, which improves ride comfort. This class-exclusive installation significantly minimizes mechanical vibrations that come from the torsional movement of the drivetrain. Also having best-in-class designation, the Coasting Neutral Control essentially disengages the mechanical components in the gearbox. Consequently, the CNC allows the ECO and Smart modes to operate at optimum efficiency. This sporty Kia sedan is driven by up to eight different gear speeds that are managed by a classic automatic transmission. Installed in the high-level editions, the Limited-Slip Differential contributes to smooth acceleration that comes from the rear wheels. An electronically controlled transfer case works in tandem with the LSD for uniform power transfer to the AWD. As a much more aggressive and powerful car, the 2019 Mustang doesn't have such elegant parts under the hood. Instead, this muscle car has components that are designed to survive extreme driving challenges. For instance, the Launch Control and Brembo brakes don't prioritize efficiency on the track.
Luxury
As a premium sedan, the 2019 Stinger has a more refined and inviting cabin than the muscular 2019 Mustang. LED accent lighting adds gentle illumination to the front row of this Kia. A soft glow illuminates the glove compartment to reduce the hassle of fumbling at night. Imported Nappa leather decorates the 16-way driver's seat in the GT2 edition. Using the exclusive Air-Cell technology, the lumbar support maintains good posture in the driver. Side bolsters and cushion thigh extensions are some other highlights of the driver's seat, which could be adjusted by the Integrated Memory System. Bright aluminum covers the Stinger's pedals and door scuff plates. Adjustable headrests are standard in the 60-40 rear seats, which also have a center armrest. In dramatic contrast to this luxurious Kia model, the 2019 Mustang has an interior design that takes inspiration from racing cars.
Safety
The Brake Fade Compensation adjusts the pressure in the 2019 Stinger's braking system in response to a spike in ambient temperatures. By applying independent braking to all wheels, the Cornering Brake Control allows this Kia to navigate curved roads with more stability. The brakes and engine are also calibrated by the Traction Control, which has electronic sensors that monitor wheel spin. This high-end Kia has a handful of driving aides, like the Parking Distance Warning. A bird's eye view and several other perspectives appear on the Surround View Monitor, which is integrated into the UVO display. A warning system will remind you to slow down when you're at risk of hitting pedestrians or vehicles. Inconsistent steering is detected by the Driver Attention Warning. The Ford Safe and Smart gives the 2019 Mustang some great safety features, but this muscle car ultimately loses the fight against the Kia sedan.
